What's the Epson Surecolor S-series printer?

Epson’s solvent based S-Series printers are designed to produce high quality, reliable signage output at the fastest production speeds in the industry.  Utilizing the most advanced PrecisionCore®TFP® print heads, improved print engine technology and proven UltraChrome GS2 solvent ink, the SureColor S-Series printers are the prime choice for any signage, vehicle graphics or fine art reproduction applications.

Featured S-Series printers will include the SureColor S40600, SureColor S60600 and SureColor S80600, in china, we named it Epson S40680, S60680, S80680. 
All of these new generation S-series printer have features as below: 

  • New UltraChrome GS3 Solvent Inks:   Formulated for extremely fast drying and delivers outstanding print quality, durability and superior media compatibility than previous SureColor S-Series printers.
  • New Epson Dual-Array PrecisionCore TFP Print Head:  Offers high performance and consistency along with variable size ink droplet technology and a robust head carriage allowing for more protection from potential head strikes, leading to increased production with less downtime.  Includes the Epson Precision Dot™ screening technology to provide high-speed printing with minimal banding.
  • New Precision Media Feeding System:  Robust motorized roll-to-roll media handling with Automatic Tension Control technology that is sensor based to provide extremely accurate media feed and take-up resulting in less media feed errors and skewing.  Automated Maintenance Technology includes a newly developed fabric print head wiper system to allow more reliable continuous printing and less manual user maintenance.
